About LYV · 188 Spadina, Toronto

Healthcare That Puts People First.

At LYV, we believe exceptional care starts by understanding the person—not just the symptoms. By bringing together expert practitioners across multiple disciplines, we create personalized care plans that help you recover, move better, feel stronger, and support your health for the long term.

Our story

We Built The Clinic
We Couldn't Find.

The idea behind LYV came from a simple observation: people deserve healthcare that sees the whole person, not just the symptoms. Yet too often, care is fragmented, appointments are disconnected, and patients are left navigating their health on their own. We set out to change that.

By bringing together experienced practitioners under one roof, we've created a clinic where collaboration comes naturally, care is tailored to the individual, and every decision is made with your long-term health in mind.

What We Believe

"The best thing you can do for your 70-year-old self is start now."

Most clinical environments communicate efficiency. LYV communicates care. The difference is intentional and architectural — plaster walls that hold warmth, sconce lighting that never overexposes, treatment rooms that feel private and considered.

188 Spadina was chosen and designed with a specific belief: that the environment in which you receive care is not incidental to the quality of that care. It is part of it. Patients consistently describe leaving LYV feeling differently than they arrived — not just because of what happened in the treatment room, but because of the quality of attention the entire space communicates.

How We Work

Four principles that
govern everything at LYV.

01

Listen before prescribing.

The most important clinical tool at LYV is not a piece of equipment. It is the quality of attention a practitioner brings to a first session. Understanding — full, unhurried, specific understanding — precedes every recommendation. We do not offer solutions before we understand the problem.

02

Evidence without dogma.

Every recommendation made at LYV is evidence-informed. We do not offer treatments we cannot stand behind clinically. We also do not dismiss approaches simply because they sit outside the conventional model's comfort zone. The standard is evidence. The application is honest and specific to each patient.

03

The whole, before the part.

The body is a system. Treating it as a collection of isolated complaints produces isolated outcomes. LYV practitioners are trained to see the whole picture — the structural pattern, the systemic context, the movement history, the lifestyle load — before focusing on any specific site of concern.

04

Time, given honestly.

Every appointment at LYV is scheduled around the time it actually requires. Not the time a billing cycle prefers, not the time that fills a schedule most efficiently — the time the patient in the room deserves. This is not a small commitment. It is the foundation of everything else.

In Partnership With

The Dayhoff Group.

Dayhoff Group logo

LYV was developed in partnership with the Dayhoff Group — a Toronto-based firm with a decade of experience developing premium health and hospitality environments across Canada. Dayhoff brings the operational and spatial expertise that turns a clinical philosophy into a built reality: the materials, the light, the flow of a space that makes 188 Spadina feel the way it does when you walk in.

The partnership means that every decision at LYV — from the design of the space to the selection of practitioners to the philosophy of care — was made with the same level of intention. Nothing here is accidental.

What We Stand For

A few things we will
never compromise on.

01

Time, given honestly.

Your appointment at LYV will not feel rushed. Not the first one, not the fifteenth. We build our schedules around the time each patient actually needs — not the time a billing system prefers.

02

Evidence without arrogance.

Every recommendation made at LYV is evidence-informed. We do not offer treatments we cannot stand behind. We also do not dismiss modalities simply because they sit outside conventional medicine's comfort zone. The standard is evidence. The application is honest.

03

Coordination that actually happens.

Integrated care is a common claim. At LYV, it is a structural commitment. Our practitioners communicate, share context, and align their approaches — because the body you bring to us is one body, not six separate problems.

04

Transparent from the beginning.

Before you book, you know what to expect. Before your first visit, you understand the process. Before treatment begins, you understand the plan. We do not believe in care that requires you to trust blindly.

Begin Your Care

Ready to begin?

There is no perfect moment to start taking your health seriously. There is only the decision to start. LYV is here when you make it.
