Physiotherapist
I came to physiotherapy through sport — a knee injury at nineteen that gave me more time on treatment tables than I'd planned for, and one physiotherapist who changed how I understood my own body. That experience is the reason I work the way I do.
My practice is built around the belief that the most important thing I can do in a first session is listen — not just to the complaint, but to the whole picture of how someone moves, compensates, and has learned to work around what hurts. I am not interested in the site of pain in isolation. I am interested in the system around it and why the pattern developed in the first place.
I have a particular focus on complex movement dysfunction, post-surgical rehabilitation, and working with people who have been through the system without finding a clear answer. If that describes you, I'd like to hear about it.
At LYV, I work closely with Marcus in kinesiology — once I understand what the body needs, the transition to movement-based rebuilding is often the most important part of a full recovery. I also coordinate regularly with James and Priya where structural and tissue work can support what I'm doing in the room.
