Movement is medicine. Yours needs to be designed.
Kinesiology at LYV is not a generic exercise program. It is a science-grounded, body-specific approach to movement — built around how your body actually functions.
The science of how you move.
Most exercise programs are built for an average body. Your body is not average — it has a history, a pattern, a set of compensations that a generic protocol cannot account for.
Kinesiology at LYV begins with understanding that pattern. Your kinesiologist assesses how you move, where restriction or compensation exists, and what your body needs to function at its best. Then they design for it.
Your First Visit
What your first appointment looks like.
Movement Assessment
Your first session is a structured evaluation of how you move — functional patterns, strength asymmetries, mobility restrictions, and compensatory habits. Not a fitness test. A clinical analysis.
Program Design
Your kinesiologist designs a program specific to your body and your goals. Every exercise has a purpose. Every progression is planned.
Supervised Training
Sessions at LYV are one-to-one. Your kinesiologist is present for every session — observing, correcting, and adapting in real time.
Integration
Your kinesiology program is coordinated with your physiotherapy and chiropractic care. Movement and manual therapy work best together — at LYV, they always do.

Marcus Webb
Marcus Webb, R.Kin
Kinesiologist
Marcus spent the first part of his career working in sport — training athletes at the university level, studying how high-performing bodies break down and how they come back. What he learned is that the principles that rebuild an athlete apply to everyone. Movement dysfunction does not discriminate by fitness level.
His sessions are precise and demanding in the best sense — he expects your attention, and he gives you all of his. Programs are designed around what your body actually does, not what a standard protocol assumes it should. Every exercise has a reason. He will tell you the reason.
Marcus has a particular interest in chronic pain management through movement, functional aging, and working with people who have been told to rest when what they actually needed was to move differently.
FAQ
Frequently asked Kinesiology Questions
Kinesiologists are regulated health professionals in Ontario with university-level training in human movement science, anatomy, and clinical rehabilitation. Where a personal trainer designs fitness programs, a kinesiologist assesses and rehabilitates movement dysfunction — and often works within a broader clinical care team.
