The conditions that enable health.
Osteopathic care at LYV addresses the structural and functional foundations of how your body operates — not just the symptoms that surface when those foundations are compromised.
A whole-body approach to structure and function.
Osteopathy begins with a principle: when the body's structures are balanced and mobile, it has the capacity to maintain and restore its own health. When that balance is disrupted — through injury, posture, stress, or accumulated compensation — the effects are rarely confined to one area.
Osteopathic treatment at LYV is hands-on, precise, and deeply informed by anatomy. Your practitioner works with the whole system — not just the site of complaint.

Whole-Body Assessment
Your osteopath will assess your posture, movement, and structural relationships across the whole body — not just the area of concern.
Hands-On Treatment
Osteopathic techniques include soft tissue work, joint mobilization, and gentle manipulative approaches — all adapted to your presentation and comfort.
Your Care Plan
Your osteopath will outline a clear plan and explain the reasoning behind it. You will always understand what is being treated and why.

Claire Fontaine
Claire Fontaine, DOMP
Osteopath
Claire describes osteopathy as the practice of listening with your hands. After fifteen years of clinical work, she still means it literally. The body holds its history in its structure — in the way the fascia has adapted, the way the viscera have shifted, the compensatory patterns that developed so gradually they no longer feel like compensation. Her job is to read that history and work with it.
She sees patients who have often exhausted other options — not because osteopathy is a last resort, but because it tends to be the last thing people try. She would prefer it to be among the first.
Claire works fluidly within the LYV team. Her assessment frequently surfaces findings that are relevant to the physiotherapy or chiropractic picture, and she communicates those findings directly.
